Problem Note 49392: The SAS® Stored Process web application might not be displayed properly in certain network topologies

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It

The SAS Stored Process web application Welcome page might fail to render properly in the web browser. This problem can occur when the application is deployed in an environment that involves perimeter authentication (for example, CA SiteMinder or IBM WebSEAL). It can also occur if your network configuration is such that the web application server cannot make requests to an external-facing, reverse-proxy server.

Click the Hot Fix tab in this note to access the hot fix for this issue.

Applying the hot fix adds the ability to specify an internal URL for the SAS Stored Process web application to use to retrieve resource files. You specify the URL in SAS® Management Console under Application Management in the Configuration Manager plug-in.

In the Configuration Manager plug-in:

  1. Expand SAS Application Infrastructure.
  2. Right-click Stored Process Web App 9.3 (or right-click Stored Process Web App 9.4, if you are using SAS® 9.4) and select Properties.
  3. On the Advanced tab, click Add.
  4. In the Property Name field, specify InternalURL.
  5. In the Property Value field, specify the base URL for the web application server in the form http://server:port.
